It was great to know an intelligent and creative people in this class. i was really enjoying reading through the comments that others left in my stories, introduction, and comment wall. I want also to thank the instructor for this class. Laura was one of the amazing teachers i ever met. she helped me a lot in writing my stories and revising them. The reading assignments each week were my favorite thing to do. I learned a lot from each unit and there were always new stories to know. Overall, this class was so great and i am glad that i had the opportunity to take this class.

Week 14 Reading Diary:The Fox and the Cat
I did some extra reading for this week also and i was really enjoying the reading from last week so I decided to read the second half from the Ashliman unit. The fox and the Cat was a short and great story and i think it has a very great in the moral where every one should trust his skills and the ability for doing things.

Week 14 Reading Diary, continued: The Man Who Met Misery
I think this unit was so interesting and one of
the stories that I really liked was” The Man Who Met Misery” and it is a story
about a very rich young man he decided to go find the misery after he heard
about it a lot. After he had an adventure, he came to his parents and told them
I know what misery is now. It gave
me a nice run for it. It's an awful thing, and there's no joking with it.
This story gave me a great idea to write a story about a rich man wanted to
find the happiness out of his castle and he might find poor people, but they
are so happy in their lives.

This story is part of the Czech Folktales unit. Story source: The Key of Gold by Josef Baudis (1922).
Week 14 Reading Diary:The Bear, the eagle, and the Fish
I read the first part of the Czech until and
this unit was so enjoyable to read. “The Bear, the eagle, and the Fish” was a
good story to know it. And it talks about a young man was able to turn back his
brothers in law to human form after they were bear, eagle, and fish. In my
story for this week, I am thinking to write a story about a man trying to find
a way to be back to his human form after he got changed to panda toy and his panda toy became a human.

Tech Tip:Google Timer
One of the great tech tips I found this week is the Google Timer. google timer can help me to stay on track during the day. And i also can take some breaks while i start to study for the finals and this timer can help me to know when to get back to study when time is up.
Week 13 Review
This week I enjoyed reading the announcement that I missed the few last days and i really liked the story of Surya. this is a story i never read before but it was good to read.

Week 13 Storytelling:Strange sound
There was
a young girl her name is Sarah. She was 18 years old. Sarah was a very kind, beautiful,
and smart girl. But she was not happy in her life. There was something did not
make her live happily. The problem was that Sarah was always having dreams at
night and in the next day they became true.
In the beginning,
she was so happy with that where she was able to know what would happen with
her in the next day. For instance, she was always telling her friends to not go
to school in some days because the teacher is absent in that day or sometime she
knew that would be a pop quiz in school in the next day so she was studying
hard before the quizzes and test and got straight A’s in all her classes.
Moreover,
one day she had a dream that she would have an accident in her car in the next day
and unfortunately that was what happened. Since that day, Sarah started to see bad
dreams instead of the good ones. And the big problem was that all the dreams
became true.
After a
month or so, Sarah heard a girl sound was talking in her head and always told
her to not do the bad things. The sound kept telling Sarah that it would help her in
life and not hurt her ever.
The young
girl thought that was just an illusion, then she tried to ask the sound
something to see if that was an illusion or not. Sarah said I would go to my
friend house and what she would be wearing?
After she asked the question, she
heard the answer very quickly from the girl sound:” she would be wearing a red
dress. The surprise was the she found her friend wearing the red dress when she
visited her. In the next day, Sarah asked the girl sound if she was a fairy and
the sound said no.
Two or
three years passed and Sarah still did not know what to do with that sound and
how to make it left her mind. She did not want to tell anybody about it because
she knew that no one would believe her and maybe some people would say that she
was a crazy girl.
Sarah’s
life was changed where she was not able to sleep at night and did not eat her
food or even go to school. And one day she decided to tell her mum the whole
story wishing to find some help from her. The mother was completely shocked and
tried to understand what happened with her daughter. Then the mother said: we
should go to see the doctor if he could help us. After that day Sarah stopped
sending me letters or talked to me to know what happened with her after that
day.

Author’s
note:
I read the
Jacobs unit for this week and one of the stories that I liked is “The Language
of Animals”. This is a story about a man how
knows the animal language. And the animals always tell him what is going to
happened, but his dad did not believe him and spoke to a robber to kill his son
in the forest. The robber did not kill the lad. And the man was made pope of
all Christendom in Rome. In my story I just used the idea of hearing new
sounds to come up with my story and hopefully I did good story for this week.
Bibliography: Europa's Fairy Book by Joseph Jacobs and illustrated by John Batten (1916).
Week 13 Reading Diary, continued: A Visitor from Paradise
I did the
reading over the second part of the Jacobs unit. And one of the stories that I really
liked was “A Visitor from Paradise” this is a very good story it takes about a
woman who gave some clothes and beers for a strange man. She thought the man
going to Paradise and she wanted him to give the things to her first husband.
Then she gave him her Dobbin but he did not bring it back in the next day, so
she went with her second husband to find him but they found in their way booty
instead. I think I can do a story about something goes in different way than it
should go just because a man heard a word or a sentence wrong. I think that
would be so funny.

things before its happens and that can make her feeling uncomfortable all the time.

Week 12 Review
I just looked over the past week announcements and I really like the one where that cat has an obstacle and trying to overcome it. and the picture said "we all struggle " and i think this picture came in the right time where we all or many of us struggling in the last few weeks of this semester.

Week 12 Reading Diary, continued: Mr. Miacca
“Mr Miacca” is a story of a bad boy and very bad boy. He was always not listening to his mum and go out of the street when one day Mr. Miacca caught him and took him off to his house to eat him with his wife. But in the end of the story the boy was able to run home. Since that day he was a very good boy and never went out until he was old enough to go alone. In my story I will talk about a bad boy decided to go out alone and then he will lost and he will be not able to go back to his home until he go through some adventures. And these adventures will make him know that he should be a good person to go back to his home.

Week 12 Reading Diary:Three Pigs
This week I did my reading over the first
part of the English fairy tales unit. And one of the stories that I liked is”
The Story of the three little pigs” where there was a fox that was able to
trick tow of the pigs and eat them. The fox tried several times to find way to
eat the third pig, but he could not be able to do that. The pig ate him instead
because he was so smart. In my story I think I will keep the fox as my main
character because he is the symbol of the cunning and I may do a story about
the fox and rabbit and I will see who is will win in the end.

Week 11 Review
My favorite announcement from this week was the growth mindset of Mrs.Bean."look boldly ahead"
it so great when people look to their-selves and see what is going on around them without waiting for others to tell them and they should set the fears aside and look to the future instead of looking just to the past.

wanted to play. Then he had to taste the food again and the chef assistant was
trying to tell the king to not drink from that soup, but he also did not understand
that because she was not speaking. She was trying to play signals, but he did

Author’s note
:
I did my
reading this week over the welsh unit. And one of the stories that I liked a
lot and made me feel sad in the end is “ the story of Gelert .“ Gelert is a
great dog. His master, a prince, loved him very much like a child, but in the
end of the story, the prince killed his favorite dog because he saw a blood all
about his child room and he thought that the dog killed his child where indeed
Gelert was fighting a big wolf to protect the child. And I just changed a little
bit in the event to get a new story.

-There
was a miller noticed that some of his
sacks had been moved during the night
-The miller went with his friend to watch the
mill
-The mill lit up and at work
-He saw a fairies coin their money.
In my own
story I will made the miller got surprised when he saw
real people in his mill
and maybe he will fight with them to find
out where his sacks or I can also
change the fairies to animals and
will
see what the animals want to do in the mill.
