Week 4 Reading Diary: Arabian Nights

Here are some of my notes over the first half of the Arabian nights unit:

This is a story happened in Persia. and the story starts when a king discovered that his wife was unfaithful and he decides to marry a fresh woman everyday and then kill her in the same wedding night before she the opportunity to betray.

One of these bride was so smart,Scheherazade, and in the day that she was should be killed, she started telling the king stories without like stopping. she was always start a new story when she finished the first one until she has completed the thousand and one nights at telling stories.

I just was wondering why the story didn't start telling us how the king discovered his wife betrayed. and why when people have a some power they start to kill people or hurt people for no reason. and i am also not sure if the end of the story was the true end . i think in writing my story this time i will start from how the king discover that his wife unfaithful and is that could be an enough excuse for him to kill others.
